Alexander Jovanovic is 9 years old and a fourth grader at Kaufman Music Center's Special Music School in New York City. At age 5, he was admitted to Special Music School and became a student of Irina Nuzova. At age 8, he performed Bach's Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor with Europa Musica Orchestra in Italy. In 2023, he performed Haydn Piano Concerto No.11 in D major with the Somerset Symphony Orchestra in the United States. Alexander won the first place at the V International Youth Music Competition and the Charleston International 18th Century Music Competition in 2023, and the second place at the 2023 Pacific Stars International Piano Competition. He is also a prize winner at the 2023 Young Pianist Competition of New Jersey. He was selected to perform at Merkin Hall for Kaufman Music Center's Contemporary Festival in 2022 and Composer Festival in 2023. Alexander participated in 2022 Music Fest Perugia and 2023 Euro Music Festival and Academy in Poland.
