A sophomore at Stanford Online High School and Colburn Music Academy, David began playing the piano at age five. He currently studies under Fabio Bidini and Hyejin Kim and previously studied under Dr. Alex McDonald in Dallas, Texas.

He has received numerous accolades, his most recent awards being First Place in the 2024 Palm Beach Atlantic University Young Artist Piano Competition, Winner of the 2024 YoungArts Competition, Semifinalist in the 2023 Thomas & Evon Cooper International Competition, and Finalist in the 2023 Hilton Head International Piano Competition. In 2022, he won 2nd Place in the Edith Knox Performance Competition by the Peninsula Symphony Orchestra, First Place in the Piano Star International Competition, Second Place and Best Baroque Prize in the Spotlight International Piano Competition, and First Place in the Colburn Piano Seminar Competition. In 2021, he was the Gold Medalist of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition, the Junior National Winner of the MTNA Competition, First Place in the Vernell Gregg Young Artists Competition, and First Place in the Memphis International Piano Festival and Competition.

David made his solo debut at Carnegie Hall at age six as the Grand Prix winner of the 13th International Youth Piano Competition of the Chopin Society of Texas. He made his orchestral debut with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra under maestro Salvador Brotons in 2022. Besides his solo endeavors, David has attended music programs such as the Texas State International Piano Festival, the Southeastern Piano Festival, and the Colburn Piano Seminar.

In his free time, David enjoys playing video games, basketball, and cooking.
