Seyoon received her MM from the University of Houston on full scholarship and as a Tomatz String Quartet Fellowship Student. She also has a Professional Studies diploma from the Aaron Copland School of Music, and a Suzuki Certificaion from the School for Strings.
Seyoon has participated in master classes with Pamela Frank, Brentano Quartet, Julliard String Quartet and Lucie Robert. She has studied with Daniel Phillips and Andrej Grabiec. She was the 2012 QC concerto competition winner and was the concertmaster of the University of Houston orchestra. She has also been a violinist and principal second violinist of The Symphony of Southeast Texas, Orchestra X, One World Symphony.
Seyoon is on faculty at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Brooklyn College Prep Center and Lucy Moses School at The Kaufman Center.
