Zimu Wu was born in 2010 and began her piano studies at the age of three. As of 2017, Zimu has been studying under the tutelage of renowned Chinese-American pianist Jay Sun of Xinghai Conservatory. Zimu has already won prizes in numerous competitions, most recently second prize at the 2019 and the 2022 national finals of China's Steinway Piano Competition, Gold Award at MusicAlive International Piano Competition Online 2020, second prize at the 1st World Piano E-Competition "Napolinova".
